Our Mission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The mission of Restore the Joy is to assist pastors and ministry leaders in their journey of emotional and spiritual maturity.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The word “vocation” shares its root with the word “voice,” in which we often refer to the work of ministry as a “calling.” Yet all too often, the busy lives of pastors drowned out the still, small voice of God’s Spirit and the joyful vitality that comes from that first love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Restore the Joy is about rekindling the joy of ministry by living out Sabbath principles, maintaining better emotional and relational boundaries, increasing self-awareness and self-care, as well as rediscovering what it’s like to truly be present to God and others.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Based upon Biblical principles and modern-day systems thinking, Restore the Joy is like gaining the clarity and purpose of punching in an address into your iPhone while you’re halfway along in your journey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The roads and obstacles of life seem familiar, but with a renewed focus in direction and skills to navigate the toughest of roads, the joy of the journey returns on your way to a better-defined destination.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
